ACM CHI 1994 Issue 97 - SCREAM: Screen-based Navigation in Voice Message

The SCREAM project creates a visual environment for navigating the data space of voice messages. Incoming voice messages are analyzed, certain caller characteristics are extracted, and the system renders and displays images that each represent a message. By looking at the screen, the user instantly gets an overview of incoming messages, and messages can be played back by selecting the corresponding image.
