Dry and barren land, it's said, but through the desert sands, manmade channels mold the river to make it work its magic.

Where the river touches the land, there are oases of green.

The groves of Yuma, Imperial Valley of California, some of the greatest gardens in the world.

{{{MUSIC}}}

The delta formed and nourished by the Colorado, winding its way, sometimes violent, sometimes almost placid, for over a thousand miles till it comes to the arid lands of California, Arizona, and Nevada, spawning towns along its banks.

Fortunate are those who can live and play only a few miles from cactus and sage.
