The river veers eastward into northwestern Arizona. We leave man's creations and look and wonder at the vast, magnificent creation of nature, the Grand Canyon.

One river, pushing and grinding for millions of years, cutting through layers of geologic time. The river's churned and swirled, carved and bitten its way into the earth to a depth of more than a mile.

Canyon walls constantly changing color with the angle of the sun - brilliant reds, lavender browns, sand hues, and simple black.
