Pathways Overlay Journal prototype demonstration

The movie shows a recording of a prototype that was created as part of the NSF-funded Pathways project (Cornell University, Los Alamos National Laboratory). The prototype illustrates the creation of an issue of an overlay journal as a cross-repository workflow that is enabled by an interoperable fabric, which is shared by distributed, heterogeneous scholarly repositories. The movie accompanies the paper "An Interoperable Fabric for Scholarly Value Chains" that is available at http://dx.doi.org/10.1045/october2006-vandesompel.
