Reclamation multiple purpose projects mean prosperity, helping to make America strong, feeding people across the land, and around the world.
In our orchards here, we have both overhead and trickle irrigation. Overhead has multiple uses. We use it primary to irrigation. Secondary things are frost control and summer heat suppression. Also they can be used for insecticide applications and fertilizer. We came in here in nineteen fifty-six from western Oklahoma, a very dry area of the country and right in the bottom of a drought at that time, so this thing has always excited me quite a bit. When you can put water on when you want in the amounts you want, it's something special.
