The Central Valley Project is a prime example of utilization of California's resources. It's a matter of storing the water in peak runoff periods, using it for hydroelectric power, and bringing it here to the San Joaquin Valley to produce food and fiber for the nation and the nations of the world. It's my lifeblood. Without the water, I'm not in the farming business.
