ACM UIST 2000 - PicturePiper; using a reconfigurable pipeline to find images on the Web

In this video, they discuss a reconfigurable pipline architecture that is ideally suited for applicaions in which a user is interactively managing a stream of data. The architecture allows services to be composed and reconfigured on the fly in order to support interactive applications. to moivate the need for such an architecture we address the problem of finding and organizing images on the WWW. The resulting tool, PicturePiper, provides a mechanism for allowing users access to images on the web related to a topic of interest.
